Over the years the grounds witnessed a variety of purposes, including a public school, prison and a warehouse just to name few. It is located at the historical Square Mile, in the heart of the City of London. Blackfriars station is only across the road, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern and Shakespear’s Globe Theater are short stroll away.
